The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny 

También conocida como Ultimate Showdown es la canción más friki que he tenido el placer de oir  y lo mejor es que viene con un videoclip de animación en flash tan jodidamente friki como la canción misma, que además es bastante buena. La canción es un single del album Dinosaurchestra de Lemon Demon (pseudonimo del comediante, director y musico estadounidense Neil Cicierega) y el video está realizado por Shawn “altffour” Vulliez y fue publicado por primera vez en 2005 en Newgrounds permaneciendo en el numero 1 de los videos más valorados durante varias semanas y llevando la friolera de mas de 10 millones de visitas desde entonces.

Este gran trabajo muestra a diferentes personajes de la cultura popular, sobre todo de los 80 y 90 (y para que os hagais una idea algunos de ellos son Batman, Chuck norris, Optimus Prime, Godzilla o Shaquille O’Neal) enzarzados en una pelea en la que “solo uno puede quedar vivo”. Cosecho gran y merecido exito a lo largo y ancho de la web convirtiendose en un tema de culto parodia infinidad de veces por los fans.

Sobre su autor material y espiritual, el señor Cicicerega, hay que destacar que es el creador de la llamada “Animutation”, un genero de animación surrealista en Flash que presenta escenas arbitrarias y sin sentido del imaginario de la cultura pop. En su canal en Youtube se pueden encontrar sus trabajos, como la serie Potter Puppet Pals, una parodia de Harry Potter hecha con marioentas. Y en su página web de Lemon Demon puedes encontrar mas canciones y videos de sus albumes.

Pero sin mas dilación os pongo (con la letra) esta autentica maravilla de la imaginación, el frikismo y los 80. Dios, que grande!!!

But suddenly something caught his leg and he tripped
Indiana Jones took him out with his whip

Then he saw Godzilla sneaking up from behind
And he reached for his gun which he just couldn’t find
‘Cause Batman stole it and he shot and he missed
And Jackie Chan deflected it with his fist
Then he jumped in the air and did a summersault
While Abraham Lincoln tried to pole vault
Onto Optimus Prime, but they collided in the air
Then they both got hit by a Care Bear Stare, oooh
